Financial Accountant

Our client operating in iGaming & Casinos is looking to recruit a Financial Accountant to join their growing team

Responsibilities:

• Custodian of financial processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain systems for timely cost reporting.
• Forecast short- and long-term profit/loss and capital needs.
• Actively manage cash flow within the business.
• Monitor company performance against financial plans.
• Manage accounts payable process for timely supplier payments.
• Oversee accounts receivable process and ensure timely customer payments.
• Handle payroll process and submission of returns to fiscal authorities.
• Prepare cash flows and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage intercompany transactions and liaise with banks.
• Support operational managers with KPI dashboard and analysis.
• Assist in budget preparation and new job cost approval.
• Contribute to smooth finance department operations and collaboration across departments.
• Other ad hoc duties as needed from time to time

Requirements

• Previous local work experience in a similar role
• Big 4 experience in considered an asset
• Exposure to Treasury, FP&A and Power BI are an asset
• Able to work under pressure and adaptable to change

Education and Experience

• Fully-qualified and warranted accountant
