Our client, a leading manufacturing company is looking to recruit an Accountant to join their team.
Main responsibilities include :
- Play a central role in delivering month-end reporting, budget planning, and ad hoc reports for the assigned Business Unit (BU).
- Own and support the standard costing model, ensuring accurate data for costing, sales/cost of sales, and other reporting needs.
- Ensure adherence to Finance guidelines and maintain robust internal controls.
- Contribute to the preparation of profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
- Maintain Nominal Ledger accuracy through balance sheet reconciliations and additional financial controls.
- Participate in direct and indirect tax filings.
- Partner with operational managers as a financial co-pilot, preparing KPI dashboards and analysis for review.
- Analyze labor and material variances to standards, identify key drivers, and collaborate with Department Managers to implement improvements.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in the Manufacturing industry will be considered an asset
- Cost Accounting knowledge and experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Education and Experience
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACMA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
