A reputable client of ours, a Group of Entities operating primarily within the Yachting / Maritime Industry is seeking to recruit an Accountant to join their growing business and team of professionals.

Duties:
- Maintain and update financial records accurately and in a timely manner
- Prepare daily sales and management reports
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
- Support in budget monitoring, ensuring expenditure aligns with set financial objectives
- Contribute to financial forecasting and cost analysis based on historical and current data
- Oversee payroll processing and maintain accurate employee financial records
- Support the CFO in meeting statutory and regulatory filing obligations
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including timely invoice processing and follow-ups
- Ensure proper internal controls are maintained
- Track inventory and assist with stock valuation
- Issue and manage purchase orders in line with internal policies
- Provide regular financial insights to management, assisting with strategic decision-making
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and other financial professionals as necessary
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial data across all systems
- Participate in ad hoc financial analysis and project-based assignments
- Keep abreast of developments in accounting standards and practices relevant to the hospitality industry
Requirements
- Previous experience within the hospitality or restaurant sector is considered an asset
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong analytical and organisational skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education and Experience
- Partially or fully qualified Accountant
