Accounting Manager

A tech company is currently on the lookout for an Accounting Manager to join their team. 

Duties include: 

• Assist the Head of Financial Accounting in the day-to-day management of finance operations and team oversight.
• Assist the Head of Financial Accounting in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Assist the Head of Financial Accounting in statutory compliance tasks, including VAT and NSO reporting.
• Supervise and coordinate tasks related to the annual financial audit and the publication of the Group's annual report and financial statements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives regarding the internal reporting framework.
• Support the implementation of new processes and technologies to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
• Assist the CEO and Executive team in monitoring internal controls and ensuring compliance with internal policies.
• Ensure business operations align with financial objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the Executive Team and Head of Financial Accounting on financial planning and budgeting processes.
• Provide comprehensive support to the Head of Financial Accounting and the CEO on strategic financial and corporate matters.
• Manage the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting framework, ensuring collaboration with various departments and the Company Secretary.
• Oversee capital market-related reporting tasks in partnership with the Company Secretary and the CEO.
• Support the CEO and Board in tasks related to investor relations and affairs.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of local accounting experience post qualification
• Fluency in both written and spoken English
• Proficiency in MS Excel, accounting software, and financial modelling

Education and Experience

• Fully Qualified through ACCA or similar
