We’re currently working with a long-standing client in the events industry, recruiting for a Part-Time Accounts Clerk to support their finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work reduced hours while still being involved in a dynamic and creative environment.
Reporting to the company’s accountant, the selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Issuing and following up on client invoices
- Chasing outstanding payments and managing the debtors list
- Assisting in preparing Profit & Loss extracts and other financial reports
- Supporting client billing processes across multiple projects
- Providing input on payroll-related tasks, particularly time and attendance tracking
- Performing general finance and admin duties as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of local experience in an accounting or finance support role
- A good grasp of invoicing, debt collection, and reporting basics
- Familiarity with accounting software Xero would be an asset but not a requirement
- Comfort working in a fast-paced and project-based environment
- Strong organisational skills and a proactive, self-motivated approach
- Fluency in both Maltese and English
