Our client, a well-established company within the catering industry, is currently seeking an Accounts Clerk to join their team. They are looking for someone who is not only detail-oriented and reliable, but also ambitious, eager to learn, and an effective communicator. Responsibilities :
- Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers, and other financial records
- Process invoices, record payments, and monitor company expenses
- Recalculate and verify invoices for accuracy
- Liaise with suppliers to clarify invoice details and resolve discrepancies
- Check and match purchase orders with invoices
- Assist in processing payments to creditors and follow up with debtors
- Ensure all financial documentation is filed and maintained in an orderly manner
- Support the finance team with day-to-day administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
- Be fluent in Maltese & English
- A minimum of 12 months working experience locally in a similar role.
- Accounts knowledge.
