Our client within the Hospitality Industry is looking to recruit an Accounts Executive to join their team.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Ensure all regulatory and statutory reports are completed accurately and submitted on time.
- Oversee the intercompany process, ensuring invoices are accurately issued in accordance with Group policy and any discrepancies are resolved within the designated timeframe.
- Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow, by delegating tasks efficiently and ensuring seamless team operations.
- Contribute to month-end and audit processes, ensuring timely completion and compliance with deadlines.
- Provide support to the finance and management team as needed.
- Maintain strong internal controls, identifying and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance.
- Assist the Director of Finance in preparing reports, forecasts, and budgets.
Requirements
- Proficient in both written and spoken Maltese and English.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
Education and Experience
- In the process of obtaining an Accounting Qualification
