Our client, operating within the travel, leisure and retail is seeking to recruit an Accounts Clerk. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Issuing of invoices and customer statements
- Debtor chasing
- Posting of cash, cheques and bank receipts
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Preparing and submitting of VAT returns
- Issuing purchase orders
- Processing of payment runs to suppliers
- Assisting with the preparation of management accounts
- Posting of payroll entries and submitting FS5
- Reconciliation of purchases, sales and cash transactions
- Assisting during the audit process
- Any other duty which may be required from time to time
Requirements
- Minimum three years experience in a similar role
- Hold excellent intrapersonal skills
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office tools
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Maltese
Education and Experience
- A minimum A level standard of education is required
