Our client who specializes in the Hospitality sector is looking for a Accounts Receivables Executive to manage financial transactions, oversee payment collections, and maintain strong client relationships.
This role requires a solid understanding of accounting principles within the hospitality industry, ensuring smooth financial operations and timely collections.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue invoices accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with company billing policies.
- Monitor and record incoming payments, including cash, credit card transactions, and checks, ensuring accurate allocation to customer accounts.
- Proactively follow up on overdue accounts, communicate with clients to resolve outstanding balances, and negotiate payment terms when necessary.
- Perform regular reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records and promptly address discrepancies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing billing inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
- Evaluate credit applications, assess client creditworthiness, and recommend appropriate credit limits.
- Generate and analyze accounts receivable reports, including aging reports, to track outstanding invoices and collection progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all accounts receivable activities for compliance and audit purposes.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent qualification.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure while meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in Shireburn SFM and SIMS is an asset.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience
- A Diploma in the Business or Financial sector or A'levels in Accounts
