Client Accountant

  South of Malta  |  €35,000 - €40,000 Annually 

Our client, a small accounting practice is looking to recruit a Client Accountant in their proactive and professional team. 

Responsibilities:  

  • Maintain and update accounting records for a portfolio of clients.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns and other statutory documents.
  • Prepare management accounts and financial reports for clients.
  • Process payroll for various clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Draft and submit work permits for third-country nationals.
  • Handle ad hoc accounting matters as they arise.
  • Manage compliance requirements on behalf of clients.
  • Work independently, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.

The position calls for a highly motivated, meticulous person who is accurate/organised in his/her work. The person should show initiative, a sense of responsibility and a positive approach. Preference will be given to candidates having two years of experience in a similar position.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years experience in an accounting environment
  • Excellent comunication skills
  • Professional level of English
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Initiative oriented and ambitious

Education and Experience

  • In possession or in final stages of obtaining a Degree (like ACCA)
