Our client a well established company in the Financial Services sector is looking to recruit a International Tax Senior to join their Tax Corporate and Advisory team. The candidate will proactively assist clients with their daily needs, support them in establishing and maintaining their local business operations, and manage cross-border projects. You will be the primary contact for project management, corporate, tax, and accounting-related queries.
Responsibilities:
- Assist and oversee the daily requests of a portfolio of clients, reporting to Senior Managers and the Director leading the team.
- Understand the tax and corporate needs of your clients and develop valuable solutions.
- Advise clients on local tax laws, reporting requirements, statutory filings, transfer pricing, indirect tax, and other international tax matters.
- Oversee the maintenance of company registers, preparation and submission of statutory filings, and perform other statutory obligations as needed.
- Set up and attend client board meetings, keep board minutes, and handle other corporate documents.
- Utilize the company's technological tools for client delivery purposes.
Requirements
- Possess a university degree in Accountancy or an equivalent qualification like ACA or ACCA.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently with a strong work ethic.
- Collaborate effectively on cross-functional engagements with other firm departments.
- Exhibit excellent command of the English language.
- Show self-motivation and possess exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
