Cost Controller

Our client in the hospitality industry is seeking a dedicated Cost Controller to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Food & Beverage cost management and a proactive attitude toward optimizing expenses and ensuring financial efficiency.

• Monitor, analyze, and manage Food and Beverage costs, ensuring accurate pricing, portion control, and inventory levels.
• Oversee operational, maintenance, and supply expenses, ensuring alignment with budget targets.
• Conduct audits, verify stock levels, and collaborate with the Purchasing Manager to maintain cost-efficient inventory levels.
• Prepare cost reports, assist in financial forecasting, and provide insights for cost-saving strategies.
• Ensure Materials Control and Micros POS systems are updated with accurate cost data for effective reporting.
• Work closely with Finance and Operations teams to maintain financial integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Regularly review cost control procedures, recommend efficiencies, and support supplier contract evaluations for cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements

• Experience in cost control, financial analysis, and inventory management, particularly in Food & Beverage and hotel operations.
• Proficiency in cost control software (Materials Control, Micros POS), Microsoft Excel, and financial reporting tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide meaningful insights and recommendations.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage inventory and cost reporting effectively.
• Collaborative mindset, working across departments like Purchasing, Finance, and Operations.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
