A client of ours, specialised in the hospitality and retail sectors, is looking to onboard a Finance Director to join their growing team:
Duties:
- Responsible for the overall day-to-day duties related to the accounts department
- Overseeing payroll and related Final Settlement Systems submissions
- Preparing monthly management accounts including income statements, balance sheets, cashflow reporting and key performance indicators
- Managing cash flow and process supplier payments, as well as monitoring month-end closure procedures and journal entries
- Developing and preparing annual budgets and forecasts
- Liaising with banking and government officials, and various stakeholders as required
- Conducting financial analysis and accurate reports
- Overview of the quarterly VAT computations and submission of VAT, OSS, Recapitulative & Eco-MTA returns
- Liaising with external auditors during the audit process
- Preparation and submission of local Income tax Returns
- Ensuring adherence to existing internal controls and implementation system to strengthen financial and non-financial processes, including, but not limited to, systems integrations
- Implementing financial and non-financial procedures and identifying areas of improvement where necessary
Requirements
- Experience within the manufacturing, retail and hospitality will be considered an asset
- Must have a minimum 3 years' experience working in a similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is a must
- Ability to motivate, lead and develop a finance team
Education and Experience
- Fully qualified ACCA qualified and locally warranted
