Finance Executive

A local group of companies is currently on the lookout for a Finance Executive to join their team. 

Duties include:

• Perform bank reconciliations on a timely basis
• Prepare transfers between different bank accounts of the Group
• Upload SEPA and payroll bank files on the bank's portal for approval
• Coordinate with the Commercial Executive on the issue of the invoices for the EOY management rebates due to the company
• Perform reconciliations of supplier first and second level rebates workings on a quarterly and annual basis
• Generate monthly franchise fee reports and prepare the relevant invoices to be mailed to franchisees
• Prepare the monthly Group recharges and franchisee recharge invoices
• Prepare accounting entries for complimentary vouchers issued and redeemed and perform reconciliation on a monthly basis
• Chase suppliers for collection of rebates receivable
• Communicate with Franchised Outlets on the amounts due for franchise fees and charge-outs so these amounts are collected as per pre-established credit terms
• Prepare the necessary data for timely submission of the monthly and quarterly management accounts
• Prepare necessary data for the Audit fieldwork in preparation of the Annual Audit and coordinates with Management Accountant and Finance Manager for the timely submission of information requested by the auditors
• Archival of documents
• Other general functions, which may be necessary.

Requirements

• A minimum of two years of local experience in a Finance Department.
• Fluency in both English and Maltese
• Able to work under pressure and with minimal supervision

Education and Experience

• Diploma level in Accounts (preferably started ACCA)
