Finance Manager

A reputable client of ours specialising in the Retail sector is currently looking to onboard a Finance Manager to join their team of professionals:

Duties:

• Implement and enhance the Finance department’s processes, controls, and documentation taking into consideration the Group’s objectives
• Monitor capital expenditure and ensure this is kept within approved budgets, as well as monitor and manage cash flows of the company.
• Work closely with and report to the Group Financial Controller about risks and opportunities.
• Perform internal audits and ensure compliance to internal control framework.
• Identify areas of cost reductions and operational improvements and conduct analysis of costs, prepare reports and drive actions.
• Produce management accounts and internal reporting in a timely manner, as well as product profitability and analysis reports.
• Fully support the management team in reviewing financial results.
• Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns and other VAT related declarations.
• Support and oversee payroll documentation 
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including the board of directors, auditors, and Banks
• Continuously ensure that standing financial data is properly maintained and financial processes are documented.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required by the Group Financial Controller.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of local experience working in a similar position
• High standard of work with strong analytical and organisational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Education and Experience

• Fully Qualified through ACCA or similar, or at the final stages of being so
