Our client within the aviation industry is looking to recruit a Finance Officer to join their growing team.
Main responsibilities include :
- Verify the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents, ensuring proper authorization and correct general ledger or cost center coding.
- Reconcile supplier and service provider accounts by matching statements with related transactions.
- Post purchase invoices, credit notes, and sales invoices.
- Maintain consistent communication with suppliers and service providers.
- Issue intercompany sales invoices.
- Process payments in an organized and timely manner, adhering to credit terms.
- Post petty cash and bank transactions.
- Allocate payments accurately.
- Assist in preparing management accounts and contribute to month-end reporting.
Requirements
- Proficient in both spoken and written English.
- Previous working experience in a similar role will be considered an asset
Education and Experience
- A Level Standard of education in Accounting or in the process of obtaining an ACCA qualification
