Financial Analyst

  South of Malta  |  €30,000 - €31,000 Annually 

A key client of ours, specialising in the Manufacturing industry is currently looking to onboard a Finance Analyst to join their team of professionals:

Duties:

  • Support accountants in month-end reporting, budget preparation, provision of information and ad hoc reports.
  • Maintain the asset registers and reports on stock control.
  • Ownership and support of the standard costing model and process, providing accurate information for costing, sales/cost of sales and other reporting purposes.
  • Monitoring, accounting and reporting on factory variances on a regular basis as required by the site
  • Ensure compliance with Finance guidelines and internal controls.
  • Supports the profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow preparation.
  • Ensure accuracy of Nominal Ledger and produce reconciliation of major account balances
  • Prepare VAT returns.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment would be considered a strong asset
  • Must have excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Cost Accounting knowledge and experience
  • Analytical and financial modelling skills

Education and Experience

  • Part qualified accountant (ACA / ACMA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
