Our client within the Manufacturing industry is looking to recruit a Financial Analyst to join their team.

Main responsibilities :

Assist accountants with month-end reporting, forecast preparation, and the provision of information and ad hoc reports.
Maintain asset registers and generate reports on stock control.
Manage and support the standard costing model and process, ensuring accurate data for costing, sales, cost of sales, and other reporting needs.
Monitor, account for, and report on factory variances as required by the site.
Track and reconcile intercompany balances.
Ensure adherence to financial guidelines and internal controls.
Support the preparation of profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
Verify the accuracy of the Nominal Ledger and reconcile major account balances.

Requirements

Strong knowledge and experience in cost accounting.
Proficient in analytical and financial modeling.

Education and Experience

Partially qualified accountant (ACA, ACMA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
