Financial Controller

A growing international company operating in the iGaming sector is looking to recruit a Financial Controller to manage their financial operations and provide valuable input in budgeting, revenue and PowerBI reporting:

Responsibilities:

• Manage the monthly group financial report and develop reporting models as required
• Lead the development and maintenance of comprehensive financial reports using Microsoft Business Dynamics and Power BI
• Manage and maintain department codes within Power BI, ensuring accurate categorization and reporting of financial data by department
• Oversee the revenue recognition process, ensuring completeness of revenue reporting and compliance with applicable accounting standards and making suggestions accordingly
• Monitor and review revenue streams, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in invoicing, billing and collections
• Oversee the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets and forecasts
• Work closely with department heads to ensure accurate budget submissions and adherence to financial plans
• Perform variance analysis to monitor performance against the budgets and recommend corrective actions
• Manage and oversee the preparation of the monthly management accounts
• Assist in approving company payments, ensuring compliance with financial policies and maintaining proper controls
• Supervise and mentor finance staff when necessary
• Any other tasks as required and communicated by the team

Requirements

• Strong budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis experience locally
• Fluent in using Navision and PowerBI
• Self-motivated, takes initiative and able to adapt to change
• Knowledge of local tax and VAT regulations
• Fluent in English

Education and Experience

• Fully qualified through ACCA or equivalent
