Financial Controller

  South of Malta  |  €50,000 - €60,000 Annually 

Our client, operating within the manufacturing industry is seeking to recruit a Financial Controller. The selected candidate will be managing a small team and have the following responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the day to day activities of the Finance department
  • Ensure the company's finance function is organized and efficient
  • Preparing financial and management reports
  • Preparation of budgets, forecasts and cash flows
  • Maintaining of financial ledgers and accounting processes
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Overseeing the payroll process 
  • Preparing and submitting of VAT returns. 

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in a similar role
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office tools
  • Possess excellent intrapersonal skills
  • Fluency in both verbal and written Maltese and English
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Education and Experience

  • Fully qualified and locally warranted accountant
