Our client, operating within the aviation industry is seeking to recruit a Financial, Planning & Analysis Executive. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Implementing cost control measures whilst driving initiatives for cost optimization
- Drafting policies and procedures to strengthen financial discipline across departments
- Monitoring actual expenditures versus budget and ensuring compliance are within the financial guidelines
- Supporting in the development, consolidation, and management of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
- Ensuring budget is aligned with the company objectives as well as its strategic goals
- Developing financial models to support decision-making and long-term planning
- Identifying key drivers of performance against budget and forecast and preparing variance analysis reports
- Contributing and providing insights on profitability, cost structure and operational efficiency
- Utilizing the necessary financial planning tools in order to automate reporting
- Implementing the best practices in financial data management
- Carrying out research on market trends, industry dynamics and competitor performance in order to identify growth opportunities
- Working closely with other departments and assist with the design and developing of dashboards, reporting and other business drivers
- Assessing sales performance, product margins and pricing strategies
- Any other duty which may be required from time to time
Requirements
- Minimum two years of experience in a similar role
- Highly analytical, meticulous with the ability to work under pressure
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
- Candidates familiar with BI system will be given preference
Education and Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Economics, Accounting or Business Administration
