Group Consolidations Controller

Our client, operating within the aviation industry is seeking to recruit a Group Consolidations Controller for the group entities. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• Leading the monthly, quarterly and annual consolidation process for all the entities
• Coordinating with subsidiary finance teams to gather and review financial data
• Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of consolidated financial statements 
• Preparing consolidation adjustments including intercompany eliminations and foreign currency translations
• Preparing and reviewing consolidated financial statements, disclosures and notes
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of the consolidation process
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards such as IFRS and other regulatory requirements 
• Developing and maintaining consolidation policies and procedures
• Performing regular reviews and reconciliations to maintain data integrity 
• Preparing analysis on consolidated financial results
• Assisting with internal and external audits
• Preparing management reports for top management and the board of directors 
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes by providing consolidated financial data
• Collaborating with finance teams across departments

Requirements

• A minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel
• Hold excellent intrapersonal skills
• Meticulous with a key eye for detail
• Candidates with aviation experience will be given preference

Education and Experience

• Fully qualified accountant and in possession of a CPA warrant
