A reputable client of ours specialised in the Corporate and Business Support Services sector, is currently looking to onboard a Group Finance Manager to join their team of professionals; The designated person will be reporting to their Group Financial Controller, and responsibilities are as follows:
Duties:
- Manage, mentor and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and continuous professional growth throughout
- Responsible for the preparation of feasibility studies and investment appraisals, as well as the review and preparation of consolidated management accounts on a quarterly basis
- Facilitate and coordinate group audits, overseeing audit adjustments accordingly
- Prepare feasibility studies and investment appraisals
- Facilitate and coordinate group income tax compliance and prepare delayed tax computations
- Provide financial input and analysis to support strategic projects and business initiatives
- Lead and oversee the annual budgeting process, working closely with subsidiary companies and their respective accountants
- Implement and maintain strong internal control systems to safeguard group assets and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Perform internal audits as required, and ensure compliance with internal control frameworks
- Review and update group insurance policies, ensuring compliance is aligned, and overseeing the preparation and submission of annual group insurance declarations
- Implement and manage finance ESG data capturing and reporting
- Act as an advisor to subsidiary companies on financial and banking matters
- Assist and/or lead all ERP and BI projects as required
- Take on and manage accounting responsibility for one or more subsidiary companies, preparing management accounts, budgeting, VAT, KPIs, and all other related financial and accounting activities
Requirements
- Minimum five years’ proven experience in a managerial accounting or finance role
- Experience in management reporting, budgeting, financial modelling, consolidations and trade finance
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Dynamics
- Able to identify issues and develop effective solutions
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Education and Experience
- Degree in Accountancy and/or be ACCA qualified
- Must be locally warranted
