Senior Accountant

Our client within the IT industry is looking for a Senior Officer to join their team. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop a strong understanding of business operations, products, and markets.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and management reports with data analysis and insights on financial performance.
•  Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) that impact the profit and loss, checking if expenses and revenues match the budget.
• Support the development of budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with monthly and annual account reconciliation processes.
• Review revenue recognition and cost management, ensuring all figures are accurate
• Help standardize reporting processes and support changes

Requirements

• Over 2 years relevant experience of accounting
• Resilient and able to work with multiple and highly demanding stakeholders
• Ability to work with financial models and apply the assumptions to forecasts/budgets
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Good knowledge of project and cost accounting, including capacity/absorption

Education and Experience

• Partially or fully qualified warranted accountant
