Senior Accounts Payables

An international company operating in the Hospitality industry is currently on the lookout for a Senior Accounts Payable to join their growing team. 

Duties include: 

• Manage the full-cycle Accounts Payable process, including invoice processing, approvals, payments and reconciliations 
• Ensure timely and accurate payments to suppliers while maintaining payment terms 
• Monitor Accounts Payable aging reports and resolve discrepancies or overdue accounts 
• Monitor KPI's to measure process effectiveness 
• Prepare and maintain weekly cash flow forecasts 
• Review bank reconciliations for accuracy and completeness 
• Assist in month-end and year-end reporting 
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of various VAT jurisdictions 
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and records 
• Prepare and present Accounts Payable reports, dashboards and analyses for management review 
• Identify opportunities to optimize AP processes and implement automation solutions to improve efficiency. 
• Collaborate with procurement, corporate and other departments to ensure smooth operations and successfully execute various accounting tasks 
• Continuously supervise, train and mentor the team to enhance work quality, reduce errors and achieve department goals 
• Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment 
• Develop, enforce, and monitor Accounts Payable policies and procedures to ensure consistency, compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements. 

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 to 4 years of local accounting experience
• Effective workload prioritsation, delegation of tasks and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Knowledge of NetSuite will be considered an asset
• Fluency in both written and spoken English

Education and Experience

• Studying of ACCA will be considered an asset but not a requirement
