Senior Bookkeeper

  Central Malta  |  €25,000 - €30,000 Annually 

Our client within the Trusts Sector is looking for a Senior Bookkeeper to join their team. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the compilation of management accounts for the group 
  • Calculation and accrual of company expenses 
  • Reconciliation of bank and other ledger balances 
  • Preparing loan interest calculations and reconciling bank and loan accounts  
  • Posting of cash and journals in the nominal ledgers 
  • Assist with the transfer of the trial balance 
  • Preparation of trust and company accounts in accordance with applicable legislation 
  • Assisting with auditors’ queries

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of local experience in a similar role

Education and Experience

  • Early stages of ACCCA or equivalent, minimum of A'level in Accounting
