Our client, an established gaming company is seeking to recruit a Tax Manager. The Tax Manager will be responsible for managing the Group’s global tax compliance, reporting, and planning activities across all jurisdictions in which it operates. This includes overseeing income tax, gaming tax, VAT, and regulatory obligations, ensuring accurate statutory reporting and strong internal controls.
Duties include:
- Ensure full tax compliance for the Group and its subsidiaries across multiple jurisdictions, including timely preparation and submission of income tax, gaming tax, and VAT returns
- Review and coordinate international tax filings with local advisors and ensure compliance with statutory requirements in all operating countries
- Oversee the accounting for income taxes in both local and international subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting under IFRS
- Lead the Group’s tax planning initiatives, identify tax risks and opportunities, and implement mitigation strategies in line with global business objectives
- Develop and manage intercompany arrangements, including transfer pricing documentation and management fee structures.
- Manage and coordinate tax audits, liaising with internal stakeholders and external tax authorities to ensure efficient resolution
- Ensure internal tax controls and procedures are in place, tested, and maintained to support regulatory and financial reporting requirements.
- Support the implementation of tax technology tools and automation of tax processes across the Group.
- Monitor global tax regulatory developments, assess their impact on the Group, and provide timely advice to senior management.
- Maintain accurate records and oversee group-wide tax documentation, including statutory reports, tax provision calculations, and supporting schedules
- Collaborate with external tax advisors and legal teams to support corporate structuring and compliance with group-wide governance requirements
- Act as the main point of contact for all tax-relate d matters across the Group, providing guidance to finance and cross-functional teams as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or completion of ACCA, or an equivalent certification.
- Minimum 10 years of tax, finance, or audit experience at a managerial or group level.
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS or related financial reporting standards.
- Previous experience in international tax compliance and planning is essential.
- Background in tax advisory, audit, or legal tax practice is an advantage.
- Experience with accounting systems, financial reporting tools, and tax compliance software.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines across different time zones.
- Discretion and integrity when handling sensitive and confidential information, particularly related to corporate structures, tax positions, and strategic projects.
- Excellent communication skills in English
