Administrative Clerk

  Central Malta  |  €18,000 - €20,000 Annually 

Our clients within the Wholesale and Distribution sector are currently looking to onboard an Administrative Clerk.

The chosen candidate will be responsibilities to:

  • File and maintain accurate records of paperwork.
  • Respond to emails and phone calls from clients and suppliers promptly and professionally.
  • Prepare and send out customer statements.
  • Create and maintain stock cards, ensuring accurate inventory tracking.
  • Monitor showroom stock levels and movements, updating systems as necessary.
  • Issue and check reports for sold-out items and assist in planning re-stock shipments.
  • Process supplier orders and input goods received into the system.
  • Handle the processing of both sales and client orders.
  • Ensure invoicing of goods for clients is completed in a timely manner.
  • Prepare price workings and issue client quotations.
  • Monitor and adjust mark-ups as part of strategic stock management.
  • Compile costing sheets to track the profitability of sales.
  • Contribute to strategic planning for stock movement and sales optimization.
  • Ensure deadlines are met for all administrative and stock-related tasks.

Working Hours:

Monday - Friday 08:15 - 17:00 (45 mins break)

Alternate Saturday 09:00-13:00

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under deadlines.
  • Proficiency in managing communications with multiple stakeholders in excellent English.
  • Analytical skills for strategic planning and stock optimization.

Education and Experience

  • Knowledge of stock management processes and systems.
  • Local experience in invoicing, order processing, and report generation.
