Technical Clerk

  Central Malta  |  €18,000 - €20,000 Annually 

Our clients within the Wholesale and Distribution sector are currently looking to onboard a Technical Clerk. The chosen candidate will be responsibilities to:

  • Request and compare local and foreign supplier quotations.
  • Process purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Post purchase invoices and ensure timely payments.
  • Inspect, label, and organize received goods, ensuring proper documentation and storage.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of goods.
  • Request prices from suppliers and calculate competitive selling prices.
  • Prepare and send quotes to clients in a timely manner.
  • Process client orders and issue sales invoices.
  • Maintain proactive communication and follow-up with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Assist technicians in locating required items and providing accurate quotations.
  • Create and update stock cards for all items.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock information in inventory systems.
  • Ensure stock levels are sufficient to meet operational demands and trigger reorders when necessary.
  • Handle warranty claims, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and clients to process claims efficiently

Working Hours:

Monday - Friday 08:15 - 17:00 (45 mins break)

Requirements

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (suppliers, clients, technicians).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and processing.

Education and Experience

  • Previous experience in procurement, sales, or inventory management.
  • Proficient in using inventory management systems or ERP software.
