Warranty Administrator

Our client who specializes in the Automotive industry is looking for a Warranty Administrator. While reporting to the Aftersales manager, your roles and responsibilities will include: 

  • Process and update warranty paperwork, ensuring compliance with manufacturer requirements
  • Enter warranty data into manufacturer systems, ensuring all costs are claimed and recovered
  • Manage the storage of exchanged warranty parts in line with manufacturer policies
  • Review and correct warranty claims, and communicate with the manufacturer for any clarifications
  • Advise the workshop on recalls and warranty procedures as per manufacturer guidelines
  • Coordinate warranty claims submissions and reporting on defective parts
  • Collaborate with aftersales and parts departments to maintain strong working relationships
  • Prioritize customer satisfaction by ensuring timely completion of recall campaigns
  • Stay updated on warranty policies, factory recalls, and manufacturer announcements
  • Reconcile warranty receivables and coordinate with the accounts team for payment processing
  • Work with the Assistant Manager on implementing recall campaigns
  • Handle rejected claims, follow up on outstanding claims, and coordinate with the body/paint shop for warranty-related tasks
  • Maintain accurate service and customer records as required
  • Attend training sessions, both locally and abroad, as needed
  • Follow health and safety regulations, company policies, and franchise standards
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Aftersales Manager

Requirements

  • Maltese communication is a must
  • Active Listening
  • Previous experience in administration will be considered an asset

Education and Experience

  • O’level standard of education
