Client Relationship Manager

Our client is looking for a Corporate Lawyer or Accountant to join this International Company as a Client Relationship Manager

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong business relationships with clients.
• Ensure clients are in good standing with relevant authorities and adhere to top-notch corporate governance standards.
• Stay updated with local compliance requirements, particularly regarding AML and CSP licensing.
• Ensure all accounting and legal requirements are complied with.
• Arrange for accounting and tax advice for clients.
• Assist in organizing, drafting, and reviewing agreements in collaboration with in-house or external advisors.
• Deliver services in a timely and professional manner.
• Supervise a team of professionals, mainly accountants.
• Ensure the delivery of professional services by the team.
• Assist the team with complex tasks and issues as needed.
• Maintain considerable contact with international clients’ representatives, banks, accounting firms, and law firms globally.
• Coordinate with the respective team to provide clients with required accounting, legal, and tax advisory services.
• Potentially get involved in advisory projects, depending on interest.
• Work collaboratively with three other managers to share workload and assist each other on more complex tasks and issues.
• Assist the compliance team, including the internal compliance manager, MLRO, internal risk officer, and external compliance officer.

Requirements

• Ideally four years in a legal firm or corporate services, preferably within a Maltese firm.
• Ideally you would have worked in a similar position , working with Maltese accounting, tax, law or corporate services.
• Strong command of the English language is necessary
• Highly developed ability to articulate views, verbally and in written form
• Knowledge of foreign languages such as German, French, Italian or Spanish would be an asset.
• good analytical skills and are a logical thinker and have the ability to find practical solutions to challenging tasks.

Education and Experience

• Ideally a Warranted Lawyer or Accountant
