Risk Manager

Our client, a prominent player in the banking industry, is seeking a meticulous and strategic Risk Manager to oversee and enhance their risk management framework. Reporting directly to senior leadership, the selected candidate will be responsible for:

Responsibilities:

• Track loan approvals, collections, credit quality, and defaults, providing performance reports to relevant committees.
• Evaluate risks and expected credit losses on the Bank’s investments, ensuring covenant compliance.
• Prepare reports to monitor portfolio segments, ensuring adherence to the Bank's risk appetite framework.
• Contribute to the risk assessment of new products and initiatives during the approval process.
• Assist in preparing ICAAP, ILAAP, and Recovery Plans, and participate in balance sheet stress testing.
• Conduct risk assessments for outsourced activities and update risk-related policies as needed.
• Provide analysis and insights to Credit, Reserving, and Risk Committees, and ensure compliance with regulatory updates and disclosures.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of risk management practices and a comprehensive understanding of the dynamic banking regulatory landscape.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in financial services, economics, econometrics, risk management, statistics, business management, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 3 years in a comparable role within a bank's risk management division or banking advisory/consultancy is required.
