Senior Client Manager

  Central Malta  |  €45,000 - €50,000 Annually 

A client of ours specialising in the Financial sector, primarily in Investments, is currently looking to onboard a Senior Client Manager to join their team. The designated person will be the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring they receive outstanding service and expert advice on their investment portfolios, and will be reporting to the Head of Client Management.

Duties:

  • Serve as the main liaison between the firm and clients, managing relationships with the different cohorts of clients we look after.
  • Conduct regular client meetings to review portfolio performance, assess investment strategies, and discuss market trends.
  • Understand clients' financial objectives, risk tolerance, and investment preferences to provide personalised investment recommendations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including financial advisors, analysts, and portfolio managers, to deliver comprehensive investment solutions.
  • Respond promptly to client enquiries, providing accurate information and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of clients' investments, offering insights and suggesting adjustments as needed.
  • Develop and implement strategies to retain and grow the client base, including identifying opportunities for cross-selling additional services.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and regulatory changes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in client relationship management within the financial services or investment industry.
  • Proven track record of managing client relationships and achieving business growth targets.
  • Strong understanding of investment products, portfolio management, and financial markets.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and ideally also in Maltese, as well as commendable interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
  • Would ideally already be approved/PQd by the MFSA

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
