Senior Research Analyst

Our client, operating within the Banking sector is looking to recruit a Senior Research Analyst to support their team of Portfolio Managers in the day-to-day administration of the department.

Responsibilities:

• Support portfolio managers in managing portfolios as directed.
• Ensure portfolios are in line with internal and external compliance standards.
• Prepare and present regular reports on portfolio performance.
• Conduct ad-hoc research on a macro & micro level on investment themes as required/ requested by management.
• Monitor/project funds, portfolios cash flow and NAV Validation.
• Service ad hoc requests from discretionary clients.
• Assist in trading and/or dealing in financial assets and securities as may be required in order to implement the investment strategy of funds and portfolios.
• To carry out general administrative duties required to keep the smooth operations of the Investment Management Department.

Requirements

• Previous local experience in Portfolio Management, Trading or similar
• Knowledge of MS Office and Bloomberg Terminal
• Ability to think analytically

Education and Experience

• In the process of obtaining a qualification in Finance, Banking, Investments, CFA or equivalent
