Our client in the Corporate Services Industry is looking for a Compliance Analyst to join their team.
Responsibilities:
Carrying out both pre and post transaction monitoring to detect usual activities by gathering due diligence documents for various types of transactions, including but not limited to:
Share purchases, transfers and allotments - evaluating the legitimacy of share transactions and identify potential risks
Company restructuring - examining organizational changes, identify Ultimate Beneficial Owners, and assess AML risk for complex structure
Property transactions - reviewing the sale and purchase of movables and immovables, tangible and intangible assets
Service, loan and consultancy agreements - analysing agreement
Managing customer onboarding process, including incorporations and reviews
Carrying out due diligence including background checks, and documents collections, to create and maintain and review customer risk profiles
Collaborating with the legal, financial and operational team
Drafting and submitting Suspicious Transaction Reports and Suspicious Activity Reports
Provide direct assistance to Compliance Manager and MLRO
Offering guidance and training to junior compliance analyst, mentoring them on AML regulations, transaction monitoring and regulatory compliance practices
Requirements
A minimum of 2 years of experience in Compliance within the corporate services provider industry
Excellent verbal and written English
Knowledge of all local AML.CFT compliance related laws and regulations
Education and Experience
A Degree Level of Education in Criminology, Law, Business or related
