Our client is seeking a Compliance Executive to play a vital role in ensuring the company continues to meet its statutory and regulatory obligations, supporting the maintenance of licences across a variety of jurisdictions.
In this position, you will assist in providing compliance advice in line with current and emerging regulatory requirements, maintain internal policies and procedures, and oversee due diligence processes.
Responsibilities:
- Stay abreast of domestic and international iGaming legislation and regulatory changes, conducting regular research to keep the business aligned with evolving global trends.
- Support the compliance team by advising on regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Draft, update, and maintain company policies and procedures, ensuring continued compliance with both regulatory standards and iGaming industry expectations.
- Contribute to the upkeep of existing licences by meeting reporting obligations, managing renewals, and assisting with new licence applications.
- Assist with internal and external audits as required.
- Conduct thorough due diligence checks on clients and service providers during onboarding and as part of ongoing monitoring.
- Respond to client due diligence requests concerning the company and its wider group structure.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments – including legal, account management, and sales – to ensure compliance is integrated into all areas of the business.
- Provide support and training to internal teams on compliance-related topics, promoting a culture of good governance and regulatory awareness.
- Maintain communication with advisors, auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities when necessary.
- Carry out any other compliance-related duties as required, reporting regularly to the Compliance Manager.
Requirements
- At least 2 years' experience in a compliance role within the iGaming sector.
- Hands-on experience working within regulated iGaming markets.
- Fluency in legal and business English; knowledge of other languages would be considered an asset.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to handle confidential information sensitively and professionally.
- A proactive attitude, with the confidence to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Education and Experience
- A university degree or a relevant qualification in a related field would be advantageous.
