Data Engineer

Our client, operating in telecommunications, is looking for a skilled and driven Data Engineer to join their team: 

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines, warehouses, and lakehouses.
• Work closely with analysts to transform business needs into efficient data solutions.
• Enhance data workflows for better performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance.
• Stay updated on emerging data and AI technologies.
• Provide on-call support for data infrastructure as needed.

Technology Stack

• Programming: Python, Bash, Linux shell scripting, PL/SQL.
• Data & ETL Tools: Airflow, dbt, PySpark, Dremio, Talend, Oracle, PostgreSQL, AWS S3.
• Development & Collaboration: GitLab, Docker, VSCode, JIRA, Confluence, Power BI.

Requirements

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, data warehousing, and cloud-based technologies.
• Experience with data orchestration, ETL tools, and containerization.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in data engineering.
