Data Governance Specialist

Our client in the insurance industry is looking to hire a Data Governance Specialist to join their team and be the primary contact in the implementation of an Enterprise Data Governance program. 

A big part of the role will involve data analysis and coordinating with the Data Engineering Team. 

What you'll be doing

• Establish data standards and quality goals.
• Implement the Data Governance model across the country and business units.
• Focus on organizational structure, processes, and management KPIs.
• Ensure adherence to policies and regulations.
• Foster a culture of quality and transparency.
• Understand the strategic enterprise data needs of the group.

Requirements

• 2 year experience as a data analyst or business analyst would be considered
• Excellent written and verbal English
• Analytical and time management skills
• Knowledge of PowerBi is a plus
• Basic understanding of SQL is a plus
• Knowledge of privacy laws and regulations would be a plus
