Internal Validation Unit Lead

Our client, operating in the financial industry, is looking for an experience IVU Lead to join their team: 

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement validation testing for BCBS 239 compliance.
• Maintain a repository of validation test questions.
• Perform independent validation of policies and procedures across units.
• Track and report compliance status and remediation efforts.
• Engage with internal stakeholders to address compliance gaps.
• Prepare compliance reports for senior management and regulators.
• Lead and mentor a team of validation professionals.
• Collaborate with senior management, auditors, and regulators.
• Promote industry best practices and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Risk data management, governance, and regulatory compliance (BCBS 239) experience.
• Communication and stakeholder management
• Experience in Risk data management, governance, and regulatory compliance (BCBS 239).

Education and Experience

• At least 7 years of experience in Data Science, Data Analysis, or a similar field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience leading and managing teams.
• MQF Level 6 Degree in Data Engineering, Analytics, Statistics, or Data Science.
