We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our client's team as a Steel Draughtsperson. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in steel fabrication and design, with the ability to produce accurate technical drawings and specifications for various projects.
Responsibilities:
- Create detailed technical drawings and plans for steel structures using CAD software.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Review and modify existing drawings to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare material lists and specifications for procurement.
- Conduct site visits to gather information and ensure designs are feasible.
- Provide technical support and guidance to fabrication teams during the construction phase.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Draughtsperson, specifically in steel fabrication or structural engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Strong understanding of steel design principles and fabrication processes
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
