Steel Draughtsperson

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our client's team as a Steel Draughtsperson. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in steel fabrication and design, with the ability to produce accurate technical drawings and specifications for various projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed technical drawings and plans for steel structures using CAD software.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
  • Review and modify existing drawings to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prepare material lists and specifications for procurement.
  • Conduct site visits to gather information and ensure designs are feasible.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to fabrication teams during the construction phase.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Draughtsperson, specifically in steel fabrication or structural engineering.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
  • Strong understanding of steel design principles and fabrication processes
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

The remuneration package will depend on the candidate's skills and experience
