Architect

  Central Malta  |  €22,500 - €37,500 Annually 

We are looking for motivated and skilled individuals to join our architectural team, with opportunities available for candidates at different levels of experience.

  • Conduct research, plan, design, and manage projects for clients, utilizing expertise in architectural design, construction detailing, building procedures, zoning regulations, and material selection.
  • Create high-quality visualizations and contribute to feasibility studies, planning documents, valuations, and proposal submissions as needed.
  • Lead or assist in researching materials and building systems while coordinating and preparing project specifications.
  • Perform desktop and field research, compile cost estimates, and prepare Bills of Quantities.
  • Develop detailed architectural drawings, ensuring appropriate material selection for new builds, renovations, or conversions.
  • Develop work plans, prioritize tasks, and provide technical guidance to clients and contractors regarding project timelines.
  • Support construction teams and contractors by offering architectural insights and addressing queries during the building phase.
  • Assess and certify completed work, verifying compliance with contract terms and accuracy of payments.
  • Undertake any other architectural duties as required.

Skills & Experience:

  • A recognized and accredited degree in Architecture.
  • Warrant to practice as a Perit in Malta (required for experienced candidates).
  • Relevant professional experience, with responsibilities increasing based on seniority.
  • Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong technical and design skills, with an understanding of local planning policies and building regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including client engagement and collaboration with project stakeholders.
  • Ability to attend site meetings, conduct inspections, and document findings.
  • Experience managing projects, teams, and multiple sites (for senior-level candidates).
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in Maltese (MQF Level 2) is required for some positions.
