Civil Engineer

We are currently working with a number of clients who are looking to recruit a Civil Engineer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Developing detailed designs and plans for civil engineering projects using software like AutoCAD and other engineering tools;
• Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather necessary information for design and construction planning;
• Estimate materials, costs, and timelines for projects, ensuring cost-efficiency while maintaining quality and safety standards;
• Supervise and manage construction sites to ensure that work is carried out according to designs, timelines, and budgets;
•  Ensure all construction work adheres to regulations and safety standards;
• Address any technical or structural issues that arise during construction, providing solutions to keep the project on track;
• Work closely with architects, contractors, and other engineers to coordinate the project’s technical aspects;
• Conduct inspections and monitor progress to ensure the construction is being done properly and meets the required specifications.
• Prepare and submit reports, plans, and designs.

Requirements

• Strong organizational and leadership skills to manage projects and teams effectively;
• Local experience is a must;
• Fluency in English is a must; Maltese preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Proficient in AutoCAD design

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
