Our client is an established Group of Companies with operations extending within different sectors and market segments, and are currently looking to recruit an Electrical Technician to join their growing team. Reporting to the Group Maintenance Manager, the chosen candidate will:
- Repair existing electrical installations in both single-phase and three-phase systems.
- Install temporary electrical systems in accordance with IEE regulations.
- Install and maintain single-phase and three-phase electrical equipment.
- Lay and terminate armored XLPE insulated cables.
- Service main incomers and distribution boards to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Install temporary freshwater systems on construction sites.
- Conduct testing of all electrical installations before energizing circuits, ensuring full compliance with IEE regulations.
Requirements
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to use and maintain multiple tools and equipment
Education and Experience
- Proven experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of IEE regulations and safety procedures.
- Ability to work with armored cables and high-voltage systems.
- Experience with temporary electrical and freshwater installations on construction sites is a must.
- Wireman License A is a must, Wireman License B shall be considered an asset.
- Must speak and write fluently in English. Fluency in Maltese shall be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of cutting machines.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
- Must possess an A-Level Qualification.
