Facilities Engineering Manager (South of Malta)

Our client is an international company having been operating in Malta for a number of years. They would like to engage a Facilities Engineering Manager with strong technical knowledge and experience.

The Role

• You will oversee Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) systems at both the plant and other related facilities
• You will manage the operation and maintenance of equipment like Process Cooling Systems, elevators and HVACs, .
• You will also implement best engineering practices and introduce new equipment where necessary.
• You will manage training plans to build technical skills across the team.
• In the role, you will audit and enhance HSSE systems even outside the Facilities Engineering Department.
• Support for production departments through supervision and fault-finding leadership is expected

Requirements

• Continuous improvement and Lean principles are integral to the role
• You will be a qualified Engineer having a qualification that is certified by the Malta Engineering Board
• You must be fluent in Maltese and English
• You will have relevant technical and leadership experience, exposure to HSSE systems, and a mindset geared toward continual improvement.
• Have strong communication skills
• Even Engineers who are at early stages of their career will be considered
