Maintenance Manager

  North of Malta

Our client within the hospitality industry is looking for a Maintenance Manager. Your roles and responsibilities will include: 

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy to ensure the proper upkeep of the hotel building and equipment.
  • Lead and provide technical and managerial support to the maintenance team.
  • Complete regular maintenance tasks and assigned projects efficiently and on time.
  • Maintain high standards in the execution of all maintenance activities.
  • Monitor and control maintenance expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Plan and schedule preventive and routine maintenance for hotel rooms, lobbies, and facilities.
  • Establish realistic and accurate timelines for ongoing and assigned tasks.
  • Track and monitor the progress of maintenance tasks to ensure timely completion.
  • Identify electrical, mechanical, and technical resources required for the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel.
  • Manage energy conservation programs to optimize resource use and reduce costs.
  • Develop and implement emergency preparedness programs for the property.
  • Provide 24/7 on-call support for maintenance-related issues. 

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of building management and engineering
  • Management of self and others
  • Multitasking ability with a hands-on approach

Education and Experience

  • Previous experience in facilities management
  • Electrician's Licence A&B or equivalent
