Our client operating in manufacturing is looking for a Process Lead, responsible for the SSQCDP management and process improvements within the prepress departments with a specific focus on printing press service requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assist the divisional leadership team in implementing the strategy
- Provide expert insights to support decision-making and contribute to the annual strategic planning process.
- Adhere to and promote governance and operational standards across the division.
- Lead SSQCDP management using the shop floor management system.
- Oversee procurement, logistics, and planning, including monitoring consumption across all divisions.
- Manage work-in-progress stock and ensure stock turnover aligns with set targets.
- Facilitate team-driven continuous improvement initiatives to enhance integration and collaboration.
- Ensure quality analysis capabilities are sufficient to meet operational demands.
- Develop and refine Quality Control Processes within Prepress operations to improve efficiency and analytical capabilities.
- Regularly update and improve standard operating procedures, FMEAs, and control plans, including organizing retraining as necessary.
- Apply and uphold principles of Lean Manufacturing, including 5S and Kaizen methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a scientific discipline.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Technical expertise, either through education or practical experience.
- Knowledge of quality assurance practices and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with continuous improvement techniques, particularly Lean Manufacturing.
- Proven track record in people management.
- Excellent skills in technical reporting and presentations.
