Structural Engineer

We are currently working with a number of clients who are looking to recruit a Structural Engineer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

•  Develop and refine structural designs for projects using computer-aided design (CAD) software, ensuring safety, functionality, and sustainability;
• Choose appropriate construction materials Maltesbased on the project’s structural requirements and environmental conditions;
• Perform detailed calculations to determine the stresses, loads, and pressures structures must endure to remain stable and safe under various conditions;
• Work closely with architects, civil engineers, and construction managers to integrate structural elements with the overall design and to resolve design-related challenges;
• Oversee construction sites, ensuring that the work is being carried out according to plans, specifications, and safety regulations;
• Ensure structures comply with local building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations;
• Prepare detailed reports, technical drawings, and specifications for projects.

Requirements

• Strong communication and teamwork skills to work with cross-functional teams;
• Proficiency in structural design software and modelling tools;
• Strong understanding of material properties and structural mechanics.
• Fluency in English is a must; Maltese preferred

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
• Local Experience is a must
