Compliance Support Officer

  Central Malta  |  €30,000 - €35,000 Annually 

Our client, a leading CSP is seeking to recruit a Compliance Support Officer to join their growing team. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the onboarding of new clients and ongoing reviews of existing ones 
  • Keeping abreast of laws and regulations as well as anything in relation to compliance and discussing such matters with the head of department  
  • Assisting in the day-to-day planning and managing of the compliance department
  • Monitoring and coordinating compliance activities and maintain control of any compliance activities whilst identifying trends
  • Reviewing and assisting with oversight or maintenance of all necessary registers as well as assisting in regular compliance reports 
  • Assisting in developing, initiating, maintaining and monitoring of policies and procedures 
  • Supporting with the preparation and delivery of internal training requirements
  • Any other duty which may be required from time to time

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Highly organized, self driven and ability to work on own initiative
  • Possess excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and written
  • Strong knowledge of any related regulations and other issues
  • Hold excellent intrapersonal skills

Education and Experience

  • Certification in AML, Risk Management, or other related fields
