Our client is looking to recruit a Duty Manager. Reporting to the General Manager the chosen candidate will be responsible for:
- Maintaining a strong working relationship with all Departments and communicating any variations in an appropriate and timely manner;
- Ensure compliance with all policies, standards, and procedures;
- Supporting with profitability goals - reports, analysis, planning;
- Serve as an Ambassador for excellent Customer Care service, empower staff when needed, and interact with guests regularly;
- Conduct regular inspection tours of the facility for appearance, safety, staffing, security, and maintenance.
WORKING HOURS ON ROSTER BASIS
40 HOURS MONDAY TO SUNDAY
SHIFTS: 08:00 - 15:00 OR 15:00 - 23:00
Requirements
- Must be flexible to do shift work: Day and Evening Shift
- A natural leader who is assertive yet approachable
- Highly customer oriented
- Excellent problem solver
Education and Experience
- Minimum 2 years experience locally in a similar role or a Senior Front Office role within the hospitality sector is a must
- ITS qualification or similar is given preference.
- IT Savvy: Proficient level of Word and Excel
- Comprehensive knowledge of Opera is preferred, however, knowledge of similar softwares is acceptable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Maltese, and English
