Occupational Health Doctor

Our client is a leading provider of a niche service both locally and abroad. As they are growing they would like to take on board an Occupational Health Doctor to join their team.

The Role

• You will be responsible for providing essential health services to employees, ensuring their well-being, and meeting client requirements. 
• You will conduct medical assessments, promoting health education, and offering advice on fitness to work or travel. 
• You will manage health risks, coordinating tests, and maintaining accurate documentation.
• You will collaborate with third-party clinics for medical tests and certifications, ensuring they are completed on time and in line with requirements. 
• You will perform medical examinations, home visits, and maintain records. You will provide analysis of medical findings and input conclusions into the system. 
• You will be responsible for determining employees' health status and ability to work, diagnosing risk factors, and offering guidance.
• You will educate clients, evaluate health hazards, and issue confirmations such as "Fit to Work" or "Fit to Travel." 
• As part of the job you will contribute to reports and research, assisting in the development of client-specific SOPs. Qualifications include a medical degree, ideally with specialization in Occupational Medicine and experience in occupational health and primary care. 
• Based locally

Requirements

• You will have a medical degree ideally with specialisation in Occupational Medicine
• Preferably have experience in occupational health and primary care
• You need to have excellent English
